KUPATA,KUHIFADHI

Of late the norm amongthe youth has been relations that last one day, one week, one night, twoseconds, and even to the least just a glance. Through this generation am justleft to wonder what happened to the days of Abraham when people whether boundby Christianity or not would stand the test of time to stay married even forhundreds of years despite circumstances. It is not interesting how it’s a blamegame between the sexes of who is right and wrong. Recently a friend of minetook me through an analogy that it is the women who choose their spousesdespite it all. However I think that we have forgotten our positions as womenand men in relationships and let ourselves fade away slowly. The KupataKuhifadhi initiative was an initiative brought in by the journey Christianmovement earlier this year. Indeed the youth in this movement declared to meetpeople of the opposite sexes with intentions to not just meet and run, but meetand stay. Have you ever thought of how you dismiss people you meet today andthen when you see them five years later you go like...I wish I had stayed. Helooks more handsome, or she looks too hot now? It is in God's plan that werelate in the right manner through our lives. The challenge I wish to pose toyou is whether you are a keeper or you get tired after the first week ofcommunication? Think again, God's sole purpose for us in this life is torelate. Soon on this blog we shall do a meet each other initiative just to formGodly friendships that last over a foundation of love and respect. Keep readingand sharing.

xoxo
